It is Uganda’s most popular safari park, known for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge, large herds of elephants, buffalos, hippos, and many bird species including migratory birds.
The main highlights of this safari are a game drive in the Savannah and a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which links Lake Edward and Lake George. The road trip is also enjoyable, with views of tea plantations, banana gardens, Rwenzori mountain ranges, and roadside markets.
