I’ve visited Queen Elizabeth National Park more than once, and the difference between tour companies here is huge. The first time I went, I booked with a different company. What stood out to me was that whenever something interesting happened, I kept seeing the same vehicles from Wild Uganda already there—and other guides, including ours, were just trying to follow them. It felt like most of the drivers were relying on guesswork, while a few clearly knew exactly what they were doing. The next time I visited, I decided to book with Wild Uganda myself—and the difference was unbelievable. From the start, their guide knew where to go, when to go, and how to position us for the best sightings. It wasn’t luck anymore—it was experience. We saw more, got closer (safely), and had a much smoother, more professional experience overall. It completely changed how I see safaris in this park.
