Acacia Wilderness Lodge – Luxury Stay in Queen Elizabeth Park

Acacia Wilderness Lodge - Luxury Stay in Queen Elizabeth Park

Acacia Wilderness Lodge is located in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park, offering a peaceful escape. The lodge sits on a scenic plateau with wide views of the Savannah and surrounding ecosystems. Guests enjoy luxury accommodation in well-designed bungalows that provide both comfort and privacy.

Each bungalow has a private balcony overlooking the lake and wilderness, making it a perfect spot for breakfast or evening relaxation. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including en suite bathrooms, flush toilets, hot and cold showers, king-sized beds in single rooms, single beds in double rooms, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, tiled floors, ceilings, free toiletries, bathtubs, and clothes racks.

Special rooms for families are available on request, and children of all ages are welcome. The lodge’s spacious restaurant offers both local and international dishes prepared by skilled chefs. Guests can also request special dinners or breakfasts in different settings.

A well-stocked bar serves a range of drinks, including cocktails made by experienced mixologists. There is also a swimming pool for guests to cool off during hot days.

The lodge is well located for exploring the park. Game drives are the most popular activity, especially in the nearby Kasenyi Plains, where visitors can spot the Big Five mammals—lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife.

Bird-watching is another favorite activity, with the Mweya Peninsula home to over 500 bird species. The best times for bird-watching are in the mornings and afternoons. Mongoose tracking is also available, giving visitors a chance to observe and learn about these small mammals. This activity usually lasts 2 to 3 hours but can be shortened if preferred.

Acacia Wilderness Lodge offers comfort, great views, and a memorable experience in the heart of Uganda’s wildlife.
