Simba Safari Camp is located on the border of Queen Elizabeth National Park, on a hill overlooking Lake George and Lake Kikorongo, next to the Kasenyi Plains.

The Kasenyi Plains are a popular game drive area where you can see giraffes, zebras, leopards, elephants, Uganda kobs, and more. The camp is also close to the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George to Lake Edward. Here, you can spot herons, crocodiles, hippos, African finfoots, and kingfishers. It is also a great place for photography. The lodge is near the Mweya Peninsula in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Simba Safari Camp has spacious and comfortable en suite rooms with bathrooms that have hot and cold showers, flush toilets, and beds made from natural wooden poles. Rooms are available as double, twin, or triple, with white beddings and treated mosquito nets. Family cottages can host up to five people and include a living room, two bedrooms, and an extra bed, making it easy for families to stay connected during their safari.

Budget travelers are also welcome at Simba Safari Camp. There are hostel rooms with double-decker beds and mosquito nets, plus shared bathrooms with hot and cold running water and common toilets. Backpackers who bring their own tents can use the large, well-maintained campsite. All rooms have private verandas where guests can relax, read a book, or simply enjoy the beautiful views of the park and surrounding areas.

The lodge has a lounge where guests can rest after a day in the park. It features a TV with DSTV. The open restaurant at the main lodge serves tasty meals, including local dishes, occasional buffets, and continental options. Next to the restaurant is a fully stocked bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, served hot or cold depending on preference. Guests can also enjoy a campfire in the evening, share stories, and watch the stars, creating lasting memories.
