Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Meet your driver guide for a short briefing about the safari. Begin the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the most visited park in Uganda, known for its elephants, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, and rich bird-life.

The route passes through Fort Portal, with views of tea plantations, banana gardens, and the Rwenzori mountain ranges. On arrival, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Wake up early for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalos, Uganda kobs, hippos, leopards, and many other animals.

After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Here you will see hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants, and a variety of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, you may choose an optional activity before starting the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Along the way, enjoy views of terraced hills, farmlands, and small villages. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

After breakfast, go to the park offices for a briefing. Rangers will check permits, explain trekking rules, and assign gorilla families. With guides and porters, begin the trek through the forest, spotting birds, monkeys, butterflies, and other wildlife along the way.

Once you find the gorilla family, spend one hour watching them as they play, feed, or rest. Take photos and videos to capture the moment. Afterward, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 5: Return to Entebbe

After breakfast, check out and begin the drive back to Entebbe. Stop at the equator for photos, souvenirs, and lunch before continuing to Kampala. You will then be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight.
