Marafiki Safari Lodge is located on the border of Queen Elizabeth National Park, overlooking Lake George in the northern part of the park. It is a mid-range accommodation in Kasese, Fort Portal.

The lodge offers different types of accommodation. Safari tents are raised on wooden platforms with wide views of the lake and park. Each tent can host two to three guests and has twin or double beds with white beddings, mosquito nets, a table, chair, en suite bathroom, and a private veranda. Family tents are self-contained, en suite, and can host four guests. They have double and twin beds, a fan, table, chair, and outdoor seating on a veranda overlooking the lake.

Thatched cottages have double or twin beds, en suite bathrooms with modern amenities like sinks and mirrors, and private verandas with views of Lake George. They are elevated, have grass-thatched roofs, and can host up to three guests.

Safari cottages are spacious, comfortable, and en suite, with double or twin beds. They also host up to three guests and have views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the park. A private veranda offers sunset experiences, and the rooms have large windows for natural light, mosquito nets, and showers with both hot and cold water. All rooms are clean, fresh, and comfortable.

Marafiki Safari Lodge has a large swimming pool for cooling off on hot days. The staff are welcoming and serve delicious meals. The restaurant area has views of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and the fully stocked bar offers soft drinks, wines, and spirits. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, ample parking, airport pick-up and drop-off, laundry, and housekeeping services.

While staying at the lodge, guests can enjoy many activities in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Game drives in the Kasenyi Plains offer chances to see buffaloes, elephants, and zebras, while the Ishasha Sector is known for tree-climbing lions and other wildlife.

With over 600 bird species, the park is also great for birdwatching. Afternoons are ideal for boat safaris on the Kazinga Channel to see crocodiles, hippos, and kingfishers. Other activities include community tours, exploring crater lakes, chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge, and guided nature walks.
